모범적 경영으로 중소기업 활성화 및 가스산업 발전 기여
삼정에너지 심재우 대표이사 겸 삼정가스그룹 경영기획본부장이 지난 6월 17일에 열린 ‘중소기업중앙회 경기북부 중소기업인대회’에서 모범중소기업인으로서 국가 경제발전에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 조달청장 표창을 수상했다.
심 대표는 2021년부터 삼정에너지 대표이사를 맡아 경영 전반을 총괄하고 있으며 삼정가스공업·삼정특수가스 등 삼정가스그룹 계열사의 경영기획본부장을 겸임하며 그룹의 체계적인 성장과 내실 경영을 주도해왔다.
글로벌 가스 기업인 린데코리아 출신인 심 대표는 서던캘리포니아대학교(USC) 경영학 학사를 거쳐 서울대와 고려대에서 각각 경영학 석사 학위를 취득한 경영·마케팅 전문가다.
뛰어난 전문성을 바탕으로 현재 서울경인고압가스공업협동조합 사무총장과 중소기업중앙회 기업승계활성화위원회 위원 등으로 활동하며 중소기업계의 제도적 발전과 권익 대변에도 적극적으로 나서고 있다. 심 대표는 이러한 지속적인 공로를 인정받아 지난 2024년에도 중소벤처기업부장관 표창을 수상한 바 있다.
이번 조달청장 표창 수상은 심 대표가 그동안 실천해 온 투명한 준법 경영과 산업 기반 안정화 노력이 대외적으로 다시 한번 높이 평가받은 결과로 풀이된다.
심재우 대표는 “경영 환경이 어려운 시기임에도 맡은 바 책임을 다해준 임직원들에게 감사하다”며 “앞으로도 끊임없는 경영 혁신을 통해 중소기업의 귀감이 되고 사회적 책임을 다하는 기업으로 성장해 나가겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.

Jaewoo Shim, CEO of Samjung Energy, Honored with Public Procurement Service Commendation
Jaewoo Shim, CEO of Samjung Energy and Executive VP of Samjung Gas Group, was awarded a Commendation from the Administrator of the Public Procurement Service at the "Northern Gyeonggi Small and Medium Business Leaders Conference" hosted by the Korea Federation of SMEs (KBIZ) on June 17. The award recognizes his exemplary leadership and contributions to national economic development.
Having served as CEO of Samjung Energy since 2021, Shim oversees overall operations. Concurrently serving as Head of Corporate Planning for Samjung Gas Group affiliates, including Samjung Gas Industrial and Samjung Special Gas, he has driven the group’s structured growth and stable, solid management.
A former sales and marketing professional at global gas company Linde Korea, Shim is a business specialist who earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California (USC), followed by Master’s degrees in Business Administration from Seoul National University and Korea University.
Leveraging his deep expertise, Shim actively advocates for institutional advancements and the rights of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He currently serves as Secretary General of the Seoul-Gyeongin High Pressure Gas Industrial Cooperative and as a member of KBIZ's Committee for Business Succession Activation. In recognition of his sustained efforts, he previously received a Commendation from the Minister of SMEs and Startups in 2024.
This latest commendation from the Public Procurement Service is seen as a formal acknowledgment of his ongoing commitment to transparent, compliant management and the stabilization of industrial foundations.
"I am deeply grateful to our executives and employees who have fulfilled their responsibilities despite challenging economic conditions," Shim said. "We will continue to drive management innovation, serving as a role model for SMEs and growing into a corporation that fulfills its corporate social responsibility."
